Position Summary
Production Associates play an integral part in maintaining the success of the plant by providing coverage and support for various machine centers throughout the plant

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintaining strict adherence to all safety rules and regulations to include wearing safety equipment
• Assisting with the operation of machinery to expected performance levels
• Assisting with set-ups, troubleshooting, and making minor machine adjustments
• Keeping designated work area clean throughout shift to ensure a safe and orderly work environment
• Production Associates will find opportunities to move into positions with increased responsibilities
• Our Production Associates work any shift, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed in an unairconditioned, noisy, and high-volume environment
• Must be flexible to work any shift 1st, 2nd and 3rd as requested

Essential to this Position

• 2nd shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• 3rd shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• This position may be required to work overtime up to 12 hours/day or on Saturdays depending on the volume of work
• The starting wage for this position is $17.34-$18.50/hr (+$.50 shift differential)

High School Diploma or EquivalentSKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Work Experience Required

One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and / or industrial environment

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired

• Experience operating a motorized forklift or clamp truck desired
• Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry desired

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical Requirements

• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and / or pulling for at least eight (8) hours a day, up to 12 hours
• Ability to lift 45 lbs.
• Ability to work 8-12 hours in heat that may exceed 85 degrees
• Ability to work 8-12 hours on your feet (standing/walking)

Pay: $17.34 - $18.50 per hour
