About this Position:

Primary purpose is to oversee overall production execution. Including assurance of business plan objectives and all areas of SEQCDM (Safety, Environment, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale), plan and control manpower, control and manage department budget, and lead manufacturing teams; including coordination of Team Leader and Production Staff daily activities to promote associate success. In addition, responsible for completing associate 2-way evaluations and address/ resolve any associate/ human resource issue.


Responsibilities include:


Function Leadership:

  • Oversight of overall production execution in all areas of SEQCDM

  • Lead and or actively participate in department initiatives such as BP, FSI, Mono-Z to gain or share knowledge, promote continuous improvement and or foster engagement for area of responsibility.

  • Plan and control of department manpower, including verification of time and attendance, Paid time off (PTO), etc. (KRONOS)

  • Implement department guidelines/ policies/ procedures consistently to ensure associate expectations are clearly understood.

  • Lead required meetings: Daily meetings with Team Leaders and Production Staff to promote department communication.

  • Daily reporting: safety incidents, daily SEQCDM reporting, downtime tracking, plant reporting, 5Y or Cap do analysis

  • Ensure department 5S activities

  • Preparation of monthly and special presentations

  • Budget activity

  • People management including coaching and corrective actions


Who we are seeking:


Required Work Experience:

  • Previous manufacturing experience (minimum of 2 years)

  • Minimum of 1 year leading a team


Required Education:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration/ Management or 2 to 4 years of relevant manufacturing experience


Desired skills:

  • Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including shifts and weekends as needed

  • Must have leadership ability

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage dynamic teams within zone of responsibility

  • Good communication skills, verbal and written

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)


Additional Position Factors:

  • Ability to train in processes

  • Associate management and control: communicate associate issues to human resources to resolve all issues

  • Standing and walking 6 to 8 hours daily

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production area

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds

  • Lead team in all daily activities

  • Must be able to work flexible shifts and weekend or daily overtime as required with minimum notice

  • Occasional travel for required AHM/SCM business objectives.
