Position Description:
The Woods Chapel Church Production Coordinator is a member of the Creative Arts Team. The
Production Coordinator serves to deploy technology and production related strategies to worship services, live audio, online audio and video content, audio recordings, and other modes of media and communications.

Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of audio, video, lighting and set design technology
  • Experience in audio editing software and mixing live audio.
  • Hands on experience with stage lighting environments
  • Video editing experience is preferred but not required.
  • This is a collaborative, creative position therefore the Production Coordinator needs to have a strong understanding of worship music and style
  • Must be able to work with various personalities, and support ranging levels of talent.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Strategize and deploy production technologies associated with worship services and other modes of media communication, including online and in-person platforms
  • Strategize set design, lighting, video, audio, and other means of technology for worship services and other modes of media communication, including online and in-person platforms
  • Contribute to the creative planning process of worship and other events or communication content
  • Recruit leaders, volunteers, and participants for technical ministries including but not limited to camera operators, sound technicians, and computer operators
  • Use Planning Center Online to schedule technical staff and creative elements
  • Develop and enhance pre-recorded online content as needed
  • Serve in Thursday evening rehearsals and Sunday morning worship as well as special events
  • Serve as regular support to not only solve problems, but develop and bolster technology and creative elements for worship and online media
  • Serve as the Lead Sound Technician, overseeing and training other sound technicians
  • Coach and offer feedback to musicians as needed
  • Collaborate with Worship Design team to ensure that worship and creative elements are aligned with the vision and resources of the overall organization.

Manual

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, bachelor’s degree, professionally trained and highly skilled, minimum 3 years of experience mixing audio, preferably in a church setting
  • Strong understanding of production and media related technology
  • Ability to program and operate a sound system, cameras, video switching consoles, and stage lighting
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Outlook, ProPresenter)
  • Proven experience in developing relationships and communicating interpersonally
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills
  • Team player able to carry out verbal or written instruction
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with attention to detail
  • Able to coach other musicians and offer feedback
  • Must have a passion and love for Christ and support the Mission Statement of Woods Chapel

Details:
This is a full-time, salary exempt, 40 hours per week position, with benefits of health insurance, PTO, 9 holidays. Salary starting at 42,000 or commensurate with experience.
