NOW HIRING - Manufacturing Scheduler
SHIFT: 1st Shift
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 - Depends on experience
Job Summary: The Manufacturing Scheduler will be responsible for executing and maintaining a production agenda that meets the needs of the organization. They should manage resources, inventory and production facilities to enhance manufacturing efficiencies and ensure that customer orders are satisfied on time and in full.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a production schedule that satisfies client orders, maximizes throughput efficiency, and reduces cost and waste.
- Manage inventory levels, including raw materials and finished goods to guarantee production continuity.
- Coordinate with production teams to implement the production schedule, monitor progress and timeline adherence.
- Optimize production schedules considering capacity, constraints and resources.
- Monitor and report production performance, ensuring teams are aware of changes to production timelines to effectively manage priorities.
- Analyze data to identify and eliminate production bottlenecks and delays.
- Keep constant communication with sales teams and customers to keep them updated on delivery timelines and product availability.
- Ensure all production records and documents are maintained and accurate.
- Work closely with the production team and management to develop and issue production schedules, including maintenance schedules and updates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of raw materials, products, and services.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a production, manufacturing or operations scheduling role.
- Great organizational, analytical, and problem-solving
skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other production management software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
