Production Direct Support Professional Job at Achieva
FUNCTION:
The Production Direct Support Professional trains Team Members on a discrete range of task assignments in accordance with the implementation strategies outlined in the Individual Supports Plan (ISP) and with related production plans and schedules. Reports to the Plant Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the achievement of individuals personal outcomes.
- Implements the ISP by providing supervision and training support to assigned Team Members.
- Maintains all required ISP documents addressing the results of task assignment and implementation strategies and reports these results daily to the Plant Manager.
- Implements production plans and schedules. Receives production plans that outline delivery dates and expectations, labor, material, and quality standards, and necessary productivity levels.
- Assists in initial job set-up and the development of production standards as required.
- Compares and reports any differences in the proposed production plan to its actual implementation daily. Suggests alterations in job setup and methods when appropriate.
- Reports productivity information, behavior changes, etc. as assigned.
- Reports equipment difficulties.
- Identifies any safety issues relating to the assigned task range.
- Performs other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:
The equivalent of a high school diploma and one year of experience in industry or human services. Knowledge of production methods, standards, and manufacturing. Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required. PA driver’s license preferred. Achieva pays for all required clearances.
