Schedule
: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM


Job Purpose
: This position is responsible for assisting with the development of the EOT (Embroidery Operator Team) and QAT (Quality Assurance Team) and/or Custom Caps and Decoration Services.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Production Supervisor in leading the team.
  • Ensure all decorated products are inspected prior to shipment, meeting Pacific Headwear's standards for quality, by utilizing real time quality checks of Embroidery Operator Team, Quality Assurance Team, and Packing.
  • Development, implementation and tracking of production metrics for quality and safety, providing regular progress reports to the Supervisor.
  • Communicate with Supervisor immediately, the ineffective output from individual machinery.
  • Act in a leadership role, fostering individual growth and improvement with active involvement in EOT training schedules with the Supervisor. Serve in relief of the Production Supervisor when necessary.
  • Ensure operational areas are clean, neat, and orderly using 5S methodology when/where necessary.
  • Approve/Decline production samples and first run quality checks.
  • Ensure 100% on time delivery through the use of Pacific Headwear's Work Order planning tools and instructions, including daily order sweeps.
  • Data gathering of daily cycle counts.
  • Daily shift change check out for all staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
:

  • Minimum requirement of high school diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proactive person, to ensure smooth team operations and effective cross-department collaboration.
  • Ability to engage and motivate a team to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Exceptional ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment while adapting to shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of 5S and Lean principles.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize, self-directed, and manages time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, and displays characteristics supportive of the ideal company culture and values.
  • Proven leadership; ability to articulate information to employees and management.
  • Experience with strategy development and execution of initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Windows based operating systems and suites.
