Jostens has some exciting light industrial job opportunities for machine operators in our Bindery/Finishing department. We will train the right candidates in machine operation to make Yearbooks and other Book products!

Interested candidates must have proven experience operating production & manufacturing equipment and mechanical ability. Our Bindery/Finishing operators run machines such as Casing In (Diamant), Sigloch (Backing machine), 3-Knife Trimmers, High Speed Binders, Gathering Machines and/or other Bindery equipment.

Qualified operators must be able to learn how to properly set-up and run the machine without assistance and be able to perform routine light maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.

Qualifications:

• High School degree or GED required.
• Must have Machine Operator experience in a manufacturing environment or Printing operator experience.
• Must be able to learn and run Bindery equipment such as Casing In, 3-Knife Trimmer, Sigloch Machine, High Speed Binder, and/or other Bindery equipment.
• Experienced operator in a Yearbook or Commercial Printing facility a plus.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills - written and verbal.
• Works well under the pressure of deadlines.
• Must have flexibility to learn and use new technology.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand while working 12 hrs crewing shift.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, shift work and overtime with short notice.
• Must be able to lift 60lbs.
• Excellent attendance record.
