Continental in Norfolk Nebraska is seeking a diverse group of individuals capable of working in a competitive, team-oriented manufacturing environment. The Norfolk facility has over 40 years of success in serving customers and being a world leader in industrial hose production. The facility is climate controlled.

• Work Schedule: 12-hour rotating schedule & 12-hour straight night shift available. In a 28 day period of time there are 14 working days and 14 days off.
• Benefits include : 136 Hours PTO 1st full year and immediate benefits: medical, dental, vision, life & disability Insurance, matching 401K
• Wages: Starting Wage is $21.40/hour. Enhanced shift premiums of $1/hr night shift premium & also an additional $1/hr weekend shift premium, Pay Increased based on performance. Quarterly Bonus Plan with $8000 potential annually.
• Team Based: The Norfolk plant has a high performance culture requiring a strong commitment to safety, strong work ethic, personal initiative, participation in problem-solving activities and working effectively with others with minimal supervision

Team Member Expectations

• Demonstrate awareness / concern for safety of self and others & adherence of safety policy/procedures
• Maintain consistent and on time attendance
• Operate production equipment and adhere to quality procedures
• Use/read hose specification & measuring equipment as required (micrometers, calipers and testing equipment)
• Record and maintain production data in accordance with specifications and quality policies.
• Attention to detail, meeting and/or exceed quality standards in work
• Identify and solve production problems to improve process and product flow / seeking to improve work processes
• Participate in team meetings and value teamwork
• Use and read measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, testing equipment) and hose specifications
• Perform a variety of tasks

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years old
• Able to Lift 25 to 50 lbs
• Willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts (days to nights) & every other weekend
