Position Summary:
PTI Industries, an ISS company, is a multi-divisional job shop servicing both a domestic and worldwide customer base of manufacturing and overhaul facilities. We are seeking an ambitious Production Operator to join our team. Employees of PTI work in a custom-built facility and earn competitive wages and benefits. PTI is committed to the training and encouragement you need to succeed. This position deals in processing aircraft and laser components. This position does not require any previous experience, but the candidate must work well with their hands and can read and write in English. Basic knowledge of common hand tools, mechanical aptitude, time management skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems. We will train the right candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works from process documents, sketches, and specifications in completing various pressure testing and flushing operations.
- Install flush tooling and pressure testing tooling using simple hand tools.
- Operating flushing equipment and pressure test equipment. (Training will be provided).
- Performs machine set ups to obtain close tolerances, fitting and alignment of machined parts.
- Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion and conforms to all quality procedures and standards.
- Performs routine preventative maintenance of machines according to PM schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50LBS.
- No Experience Necessary.
