Maintenance Planner, Planner, Production Scheduler,
Overview: The Production Planner is responsible for the scheduling of production, as well as capacity planning and communication with operational departments involved in production and logistics. This position will report to and assist the Master Production Scheduler. The successful candidate must have very strong computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications: BS/BA degree preferred (preferably in an Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or Business Management). Experience in manufacturing environment with responsibility for Logistics or Supply Chain Management. Firm understanding of manufacturing and distribution processes. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles and processes, and a passion for continuous improvement preferred.
