PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Blair Image Elements is actively seeking Production Supervisors for its manufacturing facilities in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Blair Image Elements is a recognized leader in the design, production and installation of signage, architectural facades, lighting systems and related branding elements for regional, national and international clients.
Position Summary
Reporting to one of the Manufacturing Managers, you will be responsible for day-to-day supervision and direction of assigned production employees in achieving order demand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Must have the ability to sit, stand, walk and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment; appropriate safety equipment and precautions required such as safety glasses, face shields, gloves, ear plugs, etc.
Work Schedule
Production work schedule is Monday thru Thursday 10 hours work schedules with Friday and Weekend overtime as required to meet order demand.

Position Summary
Reporting to one of the Manufacturing Managers, you will be responsible for day-to-day supervision and direction of assigned production employees in achieving order demand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures relating to safety, quality, regulatory, environmental and human resources
- Provide work assignments to production employees in support of daily/weekly order demand schedules
- Drive production employee engagement, training and development
- Actively promote cross training for the purpose of improving throughput, conversion rates, and employee career growth
- Support factory performance to KPIs
- Foster team building and support conflict resolution
- Exhibit motivation, innovation and initiative
- Participate in company processes and methodologies for employee hiring, evaluations, advancement and performance decisions
- Work alongside factory management planning capacity, staffing, training, work scheduling and throughput goals as directed by order backlog and forecast
- Minimum technical degree or equivalent training and experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated hands-on experience in an engineered-to-order manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience supervising manufacturing/production employees
- Customer service orientation with the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced, dynamic business environment
- Oral and written communication skills
- Effective at building influential relationships with employees and internal/external customers
- Demonstrated quantitative and manufacturing operational skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications; MRP/ERP system experience a must
