Awarded in August 2021 to the Parsons Team, the TEAMS next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract has a three-year base period plus four one-year options that should take the period of performance through the end of 2028 into 2029. The primary purpose of this contract is to provide outstanding systems engineering services vital for MDA mission success at multiple locations around the world. Venturi, LLC, a, Chenega company, has an exciting career opportunity for a Production Test Lead who will play an important role supporting Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. This individual will provide engineering oversight and coordination for all aspects of contractor production of target systems built to support MDA test events.

Responsibilities

Work you’ll do

As a Production Test Lead within our TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering team, you will:

• Oversee the Production and Test activities and report to MDA leadership on contractor progress on a weekly basis.
• Lead the program Production Testing IPTs
• Support program meetings such as IPRs, TPRs, MRBs, FRBs, PDRs, CDRs as engineering SME
• Lead Table Top reviews for ATPs, QTPs, Test Plans, Test Procedures documentation
• Coordinate onsite support of Program Office members at hardware test events

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM field and 7+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project
• Experience integrating schedules from multiple sources to build accurate combined planning tools presentable to senior management
• Work independently and/or lead sub-teams, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems
• Experience with Microsoft tools (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
• Excellent oral and written communications
• Active Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

• 5+ years or related experience with missile and space component/system design, test and evaluation
• Experience with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or Targets and Countermeasures (TC) Program Offices
• Can develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personne
• Familiarity with acquisition and systems engineering processes
• Experience with Earned Value Management and related tools
• Technical proposal development and evaluation
