TITLE: Production Worker

LOCATION: Essity

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Regular Full time, 40 hours/week

Schedule: Monday- Friday Hours to be Determined.

PAY RATE: $16.00 hour

Production Worker Reports to the CWI Director of Employment Programs Responsible to the CWI Division Director, Community & Employment Services Responsible to the CWI VP/COO Responsible to the CWI President/CEO On-site Reports to the Essity Production Supervisor Position Concept: CWI is the employer of record. The employees in this position are located 100% of their scheduled hours within the South Glens Falls Essity Paper Mill working alongside Essity employees or the Saratoga Essity Shipping & Receiving Warehouse. The goal of these employees is to participate in the hands-on functions of the automated process of paper-making for products purchased through the Preferred Source Program and/or to fully participate in the process of receiving the Essity products to be sold through the Preferred Source Program and prepare it for shipping to the NYSID warehouse. All of the tasks performed are essential to production and delivery of NYSID sold Tork products. South Glens Falls Facility Essential Duties:

• Oversee production machinery to help communicate proper operation and quality outcome of product•Repack product damaged or product not meeting quality control standards•Light hand stacking of product for quality control process•Maintain quality level of the products during repack and stacking to meet product specifications•Clear, clean and sweep production floor walkways so unfinished & finished product can be transported within the facility•Internal transport of unfinished, finished and damaged product•Assist in pulping area to move shredded paper into pulper•Clear, clean and sweep production floor machinery drive aisles to ensure proper machine functioning•Maintain dock driveway areas clean of debris & hazards•Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others•Participate in the Department Operations Meetings•Maintain an adequate communication with previous and next shift•Uphold accurate Time Card procedures to track hours workedSaratoga Facility Essential Duties: •Upon receipt of Essity product intended for sale through NYSID, employees willorepack damaged product as neededopalletize product to NYSID-specific configurationsosticker product with NYSID barcode inventory labelsowrap palletized product for shipment•Clear, clean and sweep warehouse floor machinery drive aisles to ensure proper machine functioning•Maintain dock driveway areas clean of debris & hazards•Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others•Participate in Departmental Meetings•Maintain an adaquate communication with previous and next shift•Uphold accurate Time Card procedures to track hours worked

Position Qualifications Must have the desire to work and meet productivity and supervisor expectations. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the assigned job. Have a cooperative spirit to accomplish the objectives required and ability to demonstrate safe practices on the job. Must be determined by CWI contracted medical provider to be fit for duty. Assessment includes audiological analysis, ability to lift required weight* above shoulders bilaterally, lift required weight bilaterally 18” to 30”, lift required weight bilaterally 18” to floor, Push and Pull required weight frequently, Carry required weight frequently, have unimpeded gait. Previous experience with manufacturing preferred.
