Essential Functions
- Lead youth participants in activities
- Create and implement curriculum.
- Establish good rapport with parents and children.
- Keep accurate rosters and attendance records.
- Communicate regularly with staff and parents.
- Provide safe and clean environment for children.
- Reliably attend various hours and locations Monday - Friday. Hours vary.
Additional Functions:
- Must have the physical and mental ability to teach a variety of athletic and enrichment programs and move equipment as necessary. (Approx. 25 pounds).
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation.
- Ability to adequately observe participant activities, enforces safety regulations, and applies appropriate management techniques.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must pass YMCA background check
- Must be enrolled in the Central Background Registrty (state)
- First Aid/CPR certification or the ability to acquire within 60 days
- Food Handler card
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be fully vaccinated again COVID-19
