Job Description

The University of Missouri's Bond Life Sciences Center is seeking a Program/Project Support Coordinator I. This position will report to the Program/Project Support Coordinator II and will be responsible for assisting the Program/Project Support Coordinator II with daily tasks, procedures, and events to ensure a smooth operation of the Bond Life Sciences Center.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Help coordinate, manage, and create processes and policies that ensure a smooth operation of the Bond Life Sciences Center. Additionally, assist supervisor lead and facilitate projects such as building renovations and lab procedures.
  • Assist with managing all the daily tasks for the Center. This includes a wide variety of tasks for smooth operation of the Center. This includes LSC daily mail, building communication, ordering supplies, managing email security groups, help manage LSC website, and provide reception to guests.
  • Help coordinate with events for LSC and work with supervisor to ensure all events (campuswide and internal) run smoothly, such as Show Me Research Week, GPID, LSC Socials, etc.
  • Provide staff support to LSC Admin Office when supervisor is not available, e.g., managing Director's calendar, scheduling meetings, assisting occupants with questions/concerns, and preparing materials.
  • Coordinate annual faculty reviews, schedule reviews, and collect all data from each faculty member - this entire process occurs over 4 months.
  • Assist with creating and managing MOUs for new hires in relation to the LSC. This includes editing and formatting MOU specifically for new hire, sending MOU for signatures, and returning to supervisor and hire once completed.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating tour requests from internal and external parties. Additionally, if applicable will provide materials for tour and/or give tour of building if appropriate.
  • Reviews physical space inventory for final review to ensure that LSC space is correctly assigned. Additionally, ensures all directory lists for the LSC is up to date for tracking purposes.

Salary

$17.96-33.18/hour

Grade: GGS 8

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
