ITAF is a State licensed Outpatient mental health facility with locations in Cinnaminson, Bridgeton, Lawrenceville, Galloway, Pennsville, and East Orange NJ. We are located in areas that are considered low income to afford everyone the opportunity to attain services for themselves, their families and their children. We offer an array of services inclusive of medication management, psychiatric evaluations, psychological evaluations, individual therapy, family therapy, marriage and family therapy and behavioral interventions. We employ an amalgamation of behavioral interventions as well as pharmacological treatment in order to encourage wellness sound mental health in New Jersey and Maryland.
We are seeking an Program Director to join our team! It Takes a Family (ITAF), is a dynamic social service organization seeking a hard-working individual to function in a demanding Senior Clinician position at any of our locations. This position requires extreme attention to detail, the ability to multitask, build rapport with clients and ability to complete timely documentation as well as provide support/guidance to team members.
- Carries a minimal caseload of clients for delivery of therapeutic services
- Supervison of 2 sites within 60-90 minute drive distance
- Monitors programs and services in order to ensure that desired changes are effected, objectives are achieved, and program changes are maintained and outcomes are documented.
- Responsible for ensuring that high quality patient care is given and that there is economical and efficient performance.
- Leads and directs and supervises staff
- Monitors patient volumes, quality of care, and performance of staff to identify areas for improvement
- Manages the day-to-day operations of an outpatient clinic
- Evaluates programs and services for compliance with accreditation and/or certification standards; coordinates and/or assists in activities regarding the development and implementation of plans and time frames for correcting deficiencies involving these standards.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, operational guidelines, and contractual agreements relating to compliance standards.
- Consults with and serves as a community liaison for providers and individuals regarding program development and operations.
- Serves on committees and boards of review, and maintains records of meetings and other facility activities for documentation purposes.
- Exercises considerable independent judgment and initiative in the performance of duties; receives general administrative direction from the Director of operations (Chief Operation Officer).
- Responsible for the expansion of the programs forming partnerships where appropriate
- Compile, analyze and report on trends in the programs
- Responsible for the supervision and management of the data management software
- Compile, maintain and report on the monthly, quarterly and annual program statistics.
- Analyze trends in the program, identifying issues and developing and recommending solutions to COO
- Implement, manage, supervise and evaluate all activities related to the operation of the program
- Direct, plan and coordinate the work of the program staff including supervision and evaluation, training and team building
- Organize and attend departmental meetings to maintain effective communication
- Ensure adequate and qualified staff to carry out the program activities
- In consultation with the COO, responsible for the selection, hiring, coaching, and discipline of the program employees
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 per year
