Program Summary:

The Park Street Residence program provides 24-hour support and supervision to adults with significant and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders in a congregate care type setting.


Position Summary:

The Program Manager 2 is responsible for the oversight of daily programmatic operations including: program development, staff supervision and training, quality assurance and program evaluation. The Program Manager provides supervision to case managers and residential aide staff and collaborates with treatment providers and referral sources.


This position is exempt and works under the supervision of the Program Director. The eligible candidate will work full time, 40 hours, 1st shift Monday-Friday with flexibility to meet the needs of the program. The Manager will participate in on-call responsibilities for the program/Behavioral Health department.


Ideally, the candidate will have experience managing a 24/hr. residential program, be highly organized, collaborative and have demonstrated leadership abilities including the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. Experience working with individuals living with mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders is required.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a human service discipline; Master's degree strongly preferred
  • 4+ years relevant experience in a mental health service-related position
  • 2 years of experience must be in a supervisory position
  • Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required for this position
  • The Connection Inc. complies with Executive Order 13G. Any employee hired on or after September 27, 2021 must either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or apply for a medical or religious exemption and be approved.

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees starting in January will be required to attend a mandatory two (2) day New Hire Orientation that will be held in our Roscommon office in Middletown.
