Program Manager

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Program Manager performs a wide range of duties, including some or all the following:

Daily Maintenance

  • Supervise program staff, including Youth coaches and Parent Aides
  • Communicate with community supports and all stakeholders (DCF, DMH, Courts, Schools, etc.….)
  • Attend stakeholder meetings with staff to ensure effective and efficient program delivery.
  • Conduct quality assurance visits and mobile supervision
  • Work directly on cases as needed
  • Manage (review and edit ) and oversee weekly updates, Virtual Gateway, and other paperwork reports and requirements.

Planning and Organization

  • Assist the Program Director in planning the delivery of programming, services, and activities per the organization's mission and goals.
  • Assist in developing new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Ensure that all program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization and comply with all relevant professional standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance of client files

Management

  • In consultation with the Executive Director, recruit, interview, and select well-qualified program staff.
  • Conduct a performance evaluation for all program staff they supervise.
  • Support and participate in new hire orientation
  • Serve on NECS Program Management Team
  • And other duties and responsibilities identified by the CEO and Program Director.

Minimum Level Education Required: Master's degree in a related field preferred

Office Locations: Brockton, Boston, New Bedford, Lynn, and Lawrence - this position reports to our Brockton office
