SAFY is seeking a full time Program Manager for our Cleveland division in Ohio.
As a Program Manager, you will beresponsible for the licensing functions in the designated division. You will oversee and drive the process to train and license persons interested in becoming foster/adopt/respite providers as well as facilitate the process to recertify them and maintain compliance. Provide continuous direction, assistance, and oversight to those supervised.

What You’ll Do
Clinical:
- Collaborate with intake/placement process
- Meet Divisional/Program quality, business and clinical annual goals.
- Review and approve certifications and re-certifications for program, such as treatment foster home certifications.
Compliance/Reporting:
- Responsible to ensure that youth, foster parent and respite/alternative care files are in compliance at all times. Establish a routine schedule for performing file audits with the appropriate risk assessment staff.
- Ensure continued quality improvement of division.
- Prepare reports, as required, in a timely manner.
Supervisory:
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performance divisional team. Provide direction to staff in the form of answers to problems and advice with staff performance. Establish performance goals for the division and monitor progress.
- Interview candidates applying for assigned positions in the division. Responsible for the training of assigned staff, which includes, thorough and complete training for new employees and assuring that the current staff receive appropriate continuing education. Assign and evaluate performance goals, conduct monthly supervision, and perform scheduled evaluations for all direct reports. Establish work schedules among staff to assure coverage of the division.
- Fill in for various positions during absence of vacancy of such. This may include providing direct services to foster parent. In addition, may include provision of direct support for licensing, training and compliance needs in the absences of a Licensing Specialist
- Maintain adherence to recruitment goals by assisting foster parent recruiter if necessary.
Other:
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of SAFY staff by participating in joint meetings, and problem identification and resolution.
- Establish and maintain a supportive and positive working relationship with youth, foster parents, referring agencies, and other SAFY stake holders.
- Attend relevant in-house and external seminars, trainings, conferences and workshops to develop and enhance knowledge in the designated area as well as achieve relevant education hours per year to enhance professional and job-related skills.
- Attend all leadership meetings, quarterly Growth and Development meetings and once a month divisional Growth and Development meetings.
- Attends required meetings within division, region, and central office (team and/or community partners).
- Participate in assigned committees and chairs if so appointed. If appointed, maintains liaisons with state and national organizations.
- Meets regularly with supervisor to discuss issues and performance.
- Sensitive and responsive to the cultural differences of staff, SAFY youth, foster parents, referral sources and the public.
- Conduct new staff orientation training as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or other license-eligible related field of human services
- LSW or LPC required. LISW/LPCC preferred
- Required to obtain Adoptions Assessor Certification
- Three years of experience in the field of social services; one year being in a supervisory/administrative capacity and two years being in providing direct care services
