Description

If this sounds like you, then you might be the ideal candidate for the Justice Program Supervisor open in Division of Law Operation with the Department of Public Advocacy Investigator Program.
In this important role in Kentucky’s largest criminal defense firm, you will be acting as a supervisor and liaison in Investigative Services across the state of Kentucky. You will be expected to oversee and review the Investigator Program for quality assurance to programmatic fidelity, draft and edit a variety of documents and reports, collect data, and provide data analysis. Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal- are a must. The ideal candidate will be assisting the Defender Services Branch with program trainings and workshops, developing program brochures and public information tools involving the Investigator Program, and develop manuals regarding orientation, policies and procedures and internships. The ability to coordinate and multi-task time sensitive materials are highly valued as this position will assist in the development of program grants, make policy recommendations, manage reports, prioritize, and complete requested duties independently.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Four years of professional experience in corrections, law enforcement, criminal justice administration, juvenile justice, or a related field.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree in a field related to the experience areas listed above will substitute for two years of the required experience.

Working Conditions
Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting. Travel is required.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
