Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for an Experienced Project Architect. This position would lead project teams focused on delivering architecture, engineering and planning services for aviation projects.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include leading interdisciplinary aviation projects of all sizes as the Project Architect; coordinating multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant team members; and working closely with clients and contractor/developer design/build partners. Assist Project Manager with pursuing projects; coordinating and leading project teams; building and maintaining strong client relationships; developing and executing project workplans; scheduling and facilitating team and client meetings; developing and delivering presentations to clients, partners and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in architecture from an accredited college or university
- At least 12 years of relevant experience of which two must be at the architect level
- Project Managemetn experience
- Licensed in the state office is located
- NCARB Certified
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
- Experience leading interdisciplinary design projects
- Experience leading public sector projects (aviation, government, education)
- Experience with aviation or federal government projects is a plus.
- Ability to lead project pursuits.
- Business development experience – seeking out and following through on new project opportunities
- LEED AP, WELL Accredited Professional, or Guiding Principles Compliance Professional
