Position Summary

The Project Coordinator, under the direction of the Senior Director of Operations, will serve in a dual role to provide coordination support for the MHFA Project Management Office and the Operations team. The incumbent sits at the center of MHFA operations and works closely with the Operations and Curricula teams to ensure continuity between projects and support collaboration across teams.

Core Responsibilities

Project Responsibilities

  • Development and monitoring of work plans for projects of varying sizes and degrees of complexity;
  • Support the creation of new tools and processes for successful project management;
  • Interaction with other team members, including task oversight and delegation, to develop and execute work plans;
  • Draft progress reports and other materials that describe MHFA implementation projects and results;
  • Coordinate and schedule project and team-related meetings; and
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Operations Responsibilities

  • Support the financial tracking processes for MHFA including transaction reconciliation of the department AMEX;
  • Coordinate the staff training and updating of departmental billing and revenue codes;
  • Serve as administrator of MHFA enterprise systems (to exclude learning delivery systems), assigning licenses, coordinating user creation with IT, etc.;
  • Support the invoicing and collections process for MHFA Connect Storefront and general billing transactions; and
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • 1-2 years of project or team coordination experience
  • Experience with in-person and virtual meeting planning and coordination
  • Results-oriented with very high attention to detail
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office—MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana) preferred
