- • Ensure that the project review process and other quality control guidelines are followed.
- Provide managerial direction and work assignments to telecommunication & network engineering project managers.
- Establish project teams, coordinate activities of multiple disciplines, ensure the efficient, cost-effective utilization of staff.
- Provide performance feedback to department managers for project team members as appropriate.
- Demonstrate creativity, foresight and judgment in anticipating and solving problems.
- Establish and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Identify opportunities and manage team efforts for submittals, proposals, presentations, contract negotiation, and related activities.
- Write articles and/or make conference presentations for marketing purposes.
- All other duties as assignedProject management of internal engineering design teams, previous experience performing enginering design (schematics, power one lines, wiring diagrams). Utility space ideally. Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients. PMP or Professional Engineer preferred. Electrical Engineering or similar degree required. 7+ years of experience, ideally in engineering consulting, electric utilities, or telecommunication providers.
- Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from accredited program. Minimum 7 years related experience in design engineering, including 3 years or more project management• Previous consulting engineering experience is preferred. An advanced degree and/or professional designations (Professional Engineer license) are desirable.
• Proven ability to develop business and establish relationships with clients.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• The ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change.
• Demonstrated success in project management.
• Proficiency in the use of basic computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
