Hermitage Steel is offering the position of Project Manager to the individual that embodies our same principles and enjoys the challenges and complexity of steel construction.

Project Managers for our team are responsible to see a project through from project award to project completion and manage all parts in between ensuring that steel is installed on time and budget for both the client and for Hermitage Steel. Project oversight budgets can be anywhere between $5,000.00 to 3.5M. Project Managers monitor the drawing/submittal process, see steel through the fabrication process, and finally oversee the installation process, including financial management.

We are seeking the right individual for this entry level position in project management. This individual needs to have a desire to learn and grow as a project manager in steel construction, be passionate about customer service, and have a professional attitude towards clients and coworkers. The individual should demonstrate solid time management, communications, and problem-solving skills on an individual level and as part of a team. A good entry level project manager should have a level-head, even personality; demonstrating the attitude of a willing student while learning the skills of project management. Qualifications

High School or equivalent

Associates degree or a four-year degree preferred

Knowledge of general construction principles and construction flow

Ability to read and understand construction drawings a plus

Basic math and computer (MS Word, Excel) skills
