Pay Range: $80,000 to $120,000 / yearly


The hiring pay range for this position $80,000 to $120,000 yearly based on skills, education, and experience relevant to this role.

Effective the first of the month following the date of hire, employees are eligible to participate in the following Inventprise employee benefit programs:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, or HSA: Currently Inventprise contributes 80% toward the Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for the employee, and enrolled spouse and dependents. Medical plans are currently provided through Premera Blue Cross.
  • 401(k) program: Inventprise contributes 3% of employee base pay each pay period to their 401(k) account. Employee contributions are at the discretion of the employee.
  • Paid Time Off: Employees start PTO accruals at the rate of 5.83 hours each pay period - annualized equivalent of 140 hours/year.
  • Paid Holidays: Inventprise offers 7 paid holidays each year: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Summary:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for management of all assigned products/projects. The PM coordinates and tracks activities in all departments associated with each project approved by executive management, Procurement, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Analytical Testing, Development, Facilities and Quality. The role will interface with the project manager from Regulatory and Clinical departments. This position is responsible for meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and ensuring that project timelines for internal and external clients are met in a timely manner.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leverage strong project management and facilitation skills to optimize team meetings and drive effective governance and decision making.
  • Responsible for building relationships and navigating the organization to integrate various functions as a cohesive effort to drive projects and enhance team dynamics.
  • Manage project timelines ensuring timelines are aligned with functional activities across the organization (individual project plan, operational portfolio)
  • Monitor and report on project execution and progress against milestones and deliverables.
  • Organize and facilitate regular or ad-hoc meetings with project teams, key stakeholders/SMEs preparing and distributing agendas, minutes, and other materials as needed.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration that will deliver projects on time with agreed standards.
  • Drive planning for stage-gate decision points; guide teams through creation with functional input and execution of project plans.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and help manage and solve the challenges/issues through close collaboration with different parts of the organization.
  • Interacts with external (as necessary) and internal departments (Inventory Management, Manufacturing, QC Stability Testing Lab, Analytical Development Chemistry Lab, QA, IT, Clinical, etc.) in problem solving and status meetings.
  • Provide necessary program direction for planning, organizing, developing, and integrating projects across multiple functional areas.
  • Closely monitor/control project progression to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Reports project progress to all key stakeholders.
  • Supports the technical team to investigate any project challenges with necessary risk assessment tools and techniques then implements corrective measures.
  • Serves as liaison between groups, manages day-to-day communications, and organizes project team meetings.
  • Prepares Project Team meeting agendas and minutes. Follows up on action items.
  • Evaluates and assesses project results and provides recommendations for future improvement.
  • Effectively builds project teams.
  • Work closely with team members across all Inventprise Inc. and with the management team to ensure coordination of all efforts and real-time communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Applicable Bachelor’s in Business, Science or Engineering degree or related field with at least 5 years of related pharmaceutical experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience or training is acceptable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Computer Software Systems (e.g., Microsoft Office/Project, Electronic Document Management Systems, Quality Management Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems.
  • Strong project management skills are required, including attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Experience in working in Technical Operations in the Biotech Industry
  • 2+ years prior project or program management experience in biotechnology or related field.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools

Physical Demands:

  • Adequate visual and mental acuity to maintain prolonged use of computer work.
  • Multiple hours of standing, sitting, or walking when performing computer work.
  • Ability to travel between sites by own car, if needed to support workflows.
  • On-site availability daily, between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.

Mental Demands:

  • Requires operational discipline to consistently focus and execute work-related tasks, with a minimum of human error. This involves self-checking of work immediately upon completion, the ability to find / correct errors (with oversight by the Supervisor).
  • Self-directing, once training is successfully completed, but with need to immediately elevate potential concerns/discrepancies to management in a timely fashion.
  • Must maintain a professional demeanor in communicating with all Inventprise personnel.

Working Conditions:

This position is substantially performed in a laboratory work setting with some office environment setting. On occasions, it will require heavy lifting, access the warehouse, laboratories or manufacturing environments.
