Position Title: Property Operations Assistant Manager
Reports To: Property Operations Manager
Location: United States Virgin Islands (USVI)
Salary: $46,000
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE):
- Responsible for executing and delivering all parts of the Operation and staff management, including beachfront, watersports, concierge, DMC, asset management, guest satisfaction and desired financial results.
- Lead all operations and watersports teams by ensuring goals are proactively communicated and delivered upon.
- Forecast talent needs and own all talent acquisition tasks, such as recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members according to RED standards.
- Set goals and objectives for direct reports, in partnership with Property Leadership
- Assist in management and communication of relationships with local preferred vendors.
- Approve daily/weekly timecards, staff schedules and PTO management.
- Under the supervision of the Property Operation Manager, complete annual performance reviews with supervisors for all team members.
- Under the supervision and direction of the Property Operation Manager, assist in the completion of all daily postings to hotel (AR) and reconciliation according to company standards.
- Under the supervision and direction of the Property Operation Manager, assist in the management and tracking of all Accounts Payable (AP) and reporting to finance administration for processing and reconciliation.
- Responsible for process management of inventory, including inventory tracking, reporting and billing, and purchasing inventory with finance approval
- Provide continuous training and regular communication to employees with a focus on encouragement, accountability, and RED mindset.
- Support tools, training, and learning and development resources to educate & develop teams.
- Provide and trains employees on exceptional customer service.
- Manage the setup and effectiveness of the Fareharbor and Paycom system for your department, in conjunction with above property resources.
- Coordinate daily food orders with the hotel F&B teams, tracking requests and reconcile billing at
- month end.
- Manage transportation logistics and the successful execution of groups in house using our
- services.
- Ensure the promotion of CBW products in all sales outlets, set revenue targets, complete training for front of house teams and track results.
- Provide support to the Property Director and Sales Team in management of all aspects of VIP reservations, bookings, and administration of execution experience(s).
- Partner with all stakeholders in CBW operations, hotel partnerships, vendors, and third-party relationships to ensure satisfactory experiences and deliverables.
- Attend weekly hotel sales and operations meetings.
- Recommend upgrades and alterations in appearance to enhance our sales outlets.
- Manage the practical application of signage, video, still pictures for sales outlets.
- Participates in departmental meetings and continually communicates a clear and consistent message regarding the front of house goals to produce desired results.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Two (2) year degree from an accredited university in Hotel, Restaurant Management, Hospitality,
Business Administration and/or related major OR least four (4) years of experience in the field
- Two (2) years of Supervisory experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to walk on various types of surfaces including rough terrain, sitting, standing, maintaining balance, climbing stairs, ladders, and inclines, working alone and in remote areas.
- Must be able to work various work settings such as exposure to sunlight, and outside temperature extremes.
- Knowledge of the principles of basic report preparation.
- Knowledge of the principles and procedures of reliable data collection and recordkeeping.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all persons contacted during the work.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply vessels regulations and safe boat practices.
- Ability to operate assigned equipment, read and interpret documents.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely.
- Must be able to operate with little or no supervision.
- Must be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
