Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will primarily support key internal and external communications and marketing needs for the hospital to advance its strategic communications plan with key internal/external audiences in alignment with the Far West Division marketing and communication team
• You will work collaboratively to heighten our positive reputation within the community and support development of organic content (written, web, video) with physicians, nurses, leaders, colleagues and patients
• You will leverage this content to create dynamic materials, messaging, events and forums across multiple channels
• You will serve as an outward facing representative of the hospital to the community and in that role keep current in terms of community needs, issues and opportunities relevant to the organization

What qualifications you will need:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required
  
• Experience: 1+ year relevancy. Experience in marketing, journalism, public relations and social media a plus
• Comfortable working in a labor union environment; able to effectively present information to management and public groups; able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  
• Requires the ability to travel from one location to another within the Division. May be needed to work early morning, evening and weekend hours. Position includes overnight travel on an as needed basis.
