Position Summary
This position is responsible for inventory management, purchasing, tracking of products and providing inventory reports to management. This position provides relationship management with stakeholders, sourcing, pricing, and vendor selection support to the Product Development team
Role and Responsibilities
- Adhere to Seeking Health’s Core Values.
- Identify vendor and supply sources.
- Solicit, review, negotiate bids, and follow up communications.
- Provide consistent, effective, and timely communication with all stakeholders.
- Finds alternatives to sell/repurpose/dispose of overstocked discontinued/WSL items.
- Works closely with Receiving Department and Offsite Contractors, providing them with any necessary documentation to support Quality Control and Inventory count upon receipt of materials.
- Perform all Physical Inventory Receipts and Offsite Vendor Production updates.
- Primary liaison between operations, customer service, accounting, and trucking companies regarding products to be returned.
- Performs Inventory reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
- Review and publish for internal sales staff listing of excess inventory/products when required.
- Primary customer contact with manufacturers and any other operations vendors.
- A thorough understanding of all system generated reports with the ability to identify report solutions in response to client issues.
- Manage inventory levels at Bellingham and Tennessee warehouse locations and assist Amazon Account Manager for all Amazon Fulfillment Centers.
- Participate in weekly department meetings.
- Update internal communication tools regarding inventory, security and all other operational areas.
- Understand and practice a Lean office philosophy.
- Supervise all safety and sanitation requirements.
- Adhere to other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Requirements, and Preferences
Business Administration degree or equivalent working experience preferred
3-5+ Purchasing and/or Operations experience
Ability to successfully manage and lead people to their fullest potential
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Forecasting, Negotiation, Operations Management, People Management, Process Improvement, and Supplier Management
Ability to locate and analyze information, collaborate, and utilize problem-solving skills when needed.
Ability to make sound decisions further department and organizational goals
Previous work experience with Amazon Fulfillment management practices preferred
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
