QA Analyst or Engineer – Consultant/Temp – Tempe/Phoenix - $30-35/hr (needed for roughly 60-90 days, maybe more)
Position Description:
As a QA Analyst or QA Engineer Consultant (Temporary employee) you will perform hardware product testing, and support and assist in the shipment of these products to customer facilities. The ability to travel between two local Tempe customer sites.
What you will do:
We are agile and your days may vary. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the following:
Execute a written test plan and test cases for both hardware and software products.- Work onsite in Tempe, AZ at a vendor facility and support Apkudo products following guidelines and instructions from your supervisor.
- Assist in assembling hardware-related components and stations as directed by QA, Engineering, and/or Production Support.
- Assist in issue resolution as required to minimize downtime, ensuring operations run smoothly.
- Capture supporting data, including system logs, images, and any reproduction steps necessary to investigate issues as needed.
- Monitor system functionality and performance, and report anomalies to Apkudo team members with detailed descriptions of the state of the system and any additional insights/observations.
- Review existing support material including but not limited to training guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with Inventory Management including physical inspection and related documentation as directed by QA management.
- Facilitate and maintain vendor relationships, review vendor processes and procedures, and help coordinate of on-site activity.
- Ensure work area cleanliness.
- Other duties as required.
- NOTE: Frequently move hardware weighing up to 30 pounds across the facility for various needs.

- Experience testing hardware and software products.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment and troubleshooting.
- The ability to adapt to changing situations and challenges.
- Persistent with the willingness and ability to learn new things and succeed with challenging situations and tasks.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team and follow your supervisor's guidance as appropriate.
- Positive energy, and a proactive and results-oriented outlook
- Basic computer skills, including data handling in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive equivalents
- The ability to lift 30lbs on a regular basis and use simple assembly tools.
