As a QA/Document Control Supervisor, you will:

Work with a variety of departments within Innovative Labs to ensure compliance for standards are being met. This role encompasses a variety of tasks including creation, edits, and review of quality documents, supplier approval, investigations, training, and audits. This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.

• Review and approve supplier documentation per the supplier approval program
• Reviews and approves raw material specifications
  
• Creates, updates, and maintains various quality documents (MMR's, SOP's, etc.)
• Approves specifications, deviations, and change control requests
• Organizes, files, and maintains documents and records as needed
• Assists in plant HACCP, HARPC, and Food Safety programs & Plans
• Participates in ensuring plant wide Pre-requisite programs are instituted and functioning
• Helps to ensure plant wide GMP compliance via internal audits, training, etc.
• Assists in Product Recalls, Traceability and Adverse Event Reporting
• Assesses non-compliances and makes recommendations for corrective actions to management
  
• Assists in internal auditing program
• Assists in and/or facilitates external and regulatory audits
• Assists in managing Customer Complaints, Corrective Actions and CAPA’s

What we are looking for:

• Follow GMP standards and guidelines.
• Understand and apply information set forth in company SOP’s
• Experience with technical writing (such as SOP creation)
• Handle confidential information.
• Ability to understand and interpret product quality, specifications, and regulatory documents
• Work as a team player
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally orally, in writing and in person
• Bachelor’s Degree in science related field or equivalent relevant experience
• 5+ years experience in Quality field (food or nutraceutical preferred)
• HACCP Training Preferred
• PCQI Training Preferred
• FSVP Training Preferred
