E*ssential Duties and Responsibilities:*
- Set up and operate one or more horizontal or vertical mills to perform series of machining operations such as milling, boring and threading on metal work-pieces such as plate and bar stock. Read blueprint, job order, tooling instructions or standard charts to determine product specifications, work holding arrangement, cutting speeds, feed rates and cutting tools to be used.
- Uses CNC machine control to set spindle speeds, feed rates and machine movements to produce parts per provided designed mold components for specified operations
- Lifts work-piece manually or using hoist and positions and secures it in vise or on machine table. Start machine and moves controls to adjust positions and movements of tools during machine operation.
- Verifies conformance of milled work-pieces to specifications. Performs required data collection and record maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and/or Training:
Machine shop training in mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties and layout, and machining procedures. CAD, CAM and mold building experience a plus.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
