ManTech is seeking a System Engineer - Quality Assurance/Audit E xpert for a Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC) program for software application development, enhancement, operations, maintenance and sustainment of business applications and systems. Candidate will assist in, collaborate on , and coordinate with IC organizations to fulfill internal and external system security audits. I deal candidate is autonomous, detail oriented, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills , and has experience working with enterprise systems ; and a desire and ability to work with peers and customers in a fast paced, collaborative agile environment.
Responsibilities
Review audit logs , ensure information requested for audit responses is provided in a timely manner
Support audit teams, Information System Security Engineers (ISSE), Information System Security Managers (ISSM) and System Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) contractors to remediate non-compliance issues and regularly provide updates to Government regarding status
Conduct audits of controlled access system and Sensitive Program Information (SPI) annually and deliver results to the Government
Write implementation and design documents describing how security features are implemented and identifying security relevant audit events
Providing direction and guidance to less experienced systems engineers
Investigat e and resolv e operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel
Design and i ntegrat e best practices for application deployments in cloud and physical environments
REQUIRED Qualifications
Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) tools and practices
S trong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working in DevOps teams or Scrum teams (preferred)
Familiarity with two or more of the following: Linux/Windows 10 (highly desired), Ruby on Rails (highly desired), HTML5 (highly desired), node.js (highly desired), JavaScript (highly desired), Code Fusion (desired)
Familiarity with cloud technologies including AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud Platform or Oracle Cloud
Familiarity with database technologies including MS SQL or Oracle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED Qualifications:
Exposure or experience in c loud t echnologies , such as Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Elastic Load Balancer (ELB), Cloud Watch, Simple Storage Service (S3), Elastic Block Storage (EBS), Simple Queue Service (SQS), Simple Notification Service (SNS), Lambda, Auto Scaling, Multiple Available Zones, Active-Active.
Experience in Kanban
F amiliarity with IBM Business Process Manager (IBM BPM)
Experience mentoring junior system engineers
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Three years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
8 + years of relevant experience
Clearance
Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
