Quality Assurance Technician Job at Grace Manufacturing Inc
Grace Manufacturing is a contract manufacturing facility, specializing in medical devices. We are seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Assurance Technician (also referred to as a Quality Engineer) position at our facility in Russellville, AR.
This position is a full-time, exempt position and is responsible for ensuring that the products manufactured meet quality, customer, and industry standards. Quality Assurance is responsible for working with Process Engineering to develop, test, and enforce manufacturing processes required to produce quality products.
Key Responsibilities include:

Revise procedures, work instructions, and process travelers to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
- Perform internal audits for ISO13485 and support in customer and regulatory audits.
- Determine critical specifications for products during manufacturing.
- Implement and manage corrective and preventive action system.
- Implement process validations for new and existing processes.
- Implement improvements for production and quality processes.
- Maintain pFMEAs, supplier evaluations, and inspection procedures.
- Support production.
- Maintain preventive maintenance tasks and work orders for maintenance personnel.
- Work with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Program vision system and/or CMM as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
No supervisory responsibilities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:

Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university, preferred
- One to two years’ experience related to quality control, manufacturing, engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred
- Ability to learn and use Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and various software necessary for use in Quality Assurance
- Ability to program a CMM and vision software, preferred
- Work with co-workers in a team environment
- Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret general procedures, standards, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, communicate professionally, and present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, coworkers, and the general public.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistics, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions.
