responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Specialist plays an integral part in food safety processes and internal and external audits. Success in this role is hinged on the accurate and timely completion of tests and evaluations of the raw materials, process, and final product as well as the timely communication of findings to the Manager.

• Perform daily monitoring and verification tasks as outlined in the HACCP program and recommend corrective actions for deviations
• Perform micro testing to assure finished and in process product is free of harmful bacteria
• Performs raw material testing to assure all incoming material is acceptable and safe for production
• Responsible for Environmental Monitoring Swabs, ATP Hygiene Monitoring Swabs on equipment to assure effectiveness of Sanitation program and quality audits of the manufacturing process including GMP

Candidates should have recent experience in these requirements, within a food manufacturing (or closely related) facility.
