Position Overview

Scale for Change, LLC is looking to hire Quality Control Phone Bankers to ensure data integrity for issue advocacy canvasses across the country. The QC will follow up with a subset of contacted individuals to ensure the accuracy of the results captured in VAN by our organizers and will be responsible for executing quality control of the program results to ensure data validity for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Call canvass contacts to ensure canvassers spoke to the contact and were friendly in their interactions.
  • Assist the Deputy Data Director in any other duties needed for the program’s success.
Qualifications:
  • There is no formal education requirement for this position
  • Must have stamina to talk to people for up to 6 hours per day
  • Comfortable with, knowledgeable of, and enthusiastic about discussing topics related to sexual and reproductive health, politics, and public policy
  • Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a team and independently based on employer requirements
  • Good time management skills to fulfill goals within a specific period
  • Previous experience in a canvass or outreach environment preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or interest in electoral campaigns.
  • Spanish language fluency is preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a short-term position with an expected end date of November 9, 2022. The position will be remote, reporting to the Deputy Data Director and is compensated at $15.00 per hour.
