Compensation:
Annual Starting Salary: $36,171.20
Hourly Rate: $17.39

Position Summary & Responsibilities:
Work performed by the Quality Control Reviewer is very detailed and prescribed by federal regulation. Each month reviewers are assigned cases from monthly samples of active and denied/discontinued food assistance cases. The reviewer has a set deadline from the date of assignment to complete a thorough case file review, conduct a field investigation by interviewing clients, gather verification and documentation from various sources, create a final report of the QC determination of a correct or incorrect case to USDA/FNS, and submit the report via the federal reporting system. Other reviews are completed as deemed by the agency.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education - General

Five years of experience interviewing, investigating, compiling information, documenting decisions, interpreting guidelines and/or providing technical assistance relevant to the agency's programs.

Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.


Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in determining eligibility and authorizing benefits for Food Assistance and at least one other EES program: TANF, Work Programs or Child Care.

Prior knowledge and use of DCF eligibility systems.


Licenses, certificates and registrations:

Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.
