Global Supplier Quality Engineer - 1st Shift

Syndeo Staffing Solutions has an opening for a Global Supplier Quality Engineer at a starting salary of $70,000-80,000/yearly.

What you would be working on:

• Review schematics and answer questions relating to drawings and specifications as it relates to supply risk.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise to cross functional team including Procurement, Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality and R&D professionals to evaluate risk and identify opportunities to reduce that risk.
• Work and coordinate with stakeholders to evaluate processes for qualifying new suppliers and materials.
• Work with oversees office on the development and maintenance of process to evaluate supply risk during new product development.
• Oversee and manage technical requirements for supply risk mitigation project such as new supplier and material identification and qualification.
• Provide engineering support for cross-functional teams, including Research and Development, Manufacturing, Quality and Purchasing.
• Maintain up-to-date and complete project files.

What will help you be successful:

• Knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Adobe Professional, SAP, CATIA, Smart Team Software
• Knowledge and experience with plumbing and heating techniques and technologies
• Knowledge and experience with regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, practices, and advanced engineering principles necessary to perform assignments for specific disciplines.
• Technical writing analytical skills.
• Good planning, organizational and reporting skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player and lead cross-functional teams.
• Ability to supervise and lead others.
  Ability to effectively manage projects.
• Ability to facilitate presentation, presenting technical information to a wide audience.
• Ability to accurately analyze information, make strategic decisions/recommendations and guide others decision making by identifying the anticipated benefits, consequences, and impacts of alternatives • Ability to interpret production drawing.
