Quality Inspector’s in Oakdale, MN | $25.00 to $35.00/Hour DOE
Our Quality Inspector’s workweek is Monday to Friday with hours starting at 7:00 am until 3:00 pm. This job is a Skilled Industrial type position that that pays $25.00 to $35.00/Hour DOE and is a Direct Hire opportunity.
Quality Inspector Duties and Responsibilities –
- Fill out all required paperwork and documentation.
- Reads and interprets blueprints
- Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- Inspecting precision milled, turned parts, sheet metal parts, weldments, and assemblies
- Work in three separate inspection labs periodically and must be willing to rotate
- Ensure components are within specifications
- Visually inspect parts to meet quality standards
- Use quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers and bore gauges
- Utilize and program CMM to check for accuracy
- Use various computer programs to complete job requirements
Quality Inspector Requirements and Qualifications –
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- 3 or more years of part or assembly inspection experience
- Be able to use or program a CMM (PCDMIS) is a plus but not required if they have visions system experience
- Be able to use an OGP and/or Keyence vision system
- Be able to use most hand tools: micrometers (OD, blade, pitch), caliper, height gage
- Be familiar with thread inspection
