We are actively seeking a Quality Technician to join our team. If you are a Quality Technician looking for a new opportunity with a leading packaging company, ProAmpac is looking for you to join our team!
Successful candidates will bring with them the following requirements and skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous QA experience in comparable industry and field is preferred
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to make independent decisions regarding quality, customer complaints, etc.
- Ability to clearly set priorities on tasks and complete in a timely manner
- Strong mathematical and attention to detail skills are a plus
- Must be able to work 12-hour schedule (2 day on, 2 day off, etc.) 8am to 8pm
In this role, you will perform daily bag inspections for security envelope and/or retail shopping bag products.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:
- Inspect and Validate: you will fill out daily inspection work sheets for the Quality Manager to review and put aside all bad products while a decision is made for next steps.
- Label and Investigate: you will perform label and packaging inspections to confirm correct label and packaging. Where needed, with customer complaint investigations.
- Ensure Compliance: you will maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with AIB/ISO standards.
