We are looking for a reliable, positive RT to join our X-ray Department in Johnson City on a full time basis.
Position Summary - 2 Positions (will be working in Johnson City)
Schedule: 8 days ON, then 6 days OFF
Wednesday: 8-5
Thursday: 8-8
Friday: 8-8
Saturday: 8-5
Sunday: 1-5
Monday: 8-8
Tuesday: 8-8
Wednesday: 8-8
Thursday: OFF
Friday: OFF
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: OFF
Monday: OFF
Tuesday: OFF
REPEAT
The Radiological Tech, under the supervision of the Director, provides exceptional customer service by ensuring a positive patient experience for new and seasoned patients alike. This may include but is not limited to:
- Explaining procedures to patients and answering questions.
- Preparing equipment for use as needed.
- Preparing examination rooms for patient exams.
- Positioning patients for imaging exams.
- Monitoring patients during exams.
- Documenting information through our EMR system Athena.
- Ensuring safety of patients during exams.
- Answering incoming phone lines in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associates of Allied Science or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Science.
- Must be registered with the ARRT. Must have TN state license or be willing to apply for one.
- Computer proficiency with Windows and Outlook experience.
- Good decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to report to work with limited advanced notice.
- Must be able to multi-task and be flexible to accommodate the needs of their department due to the ever changing healthcare field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
