Ranch Hand- Full Time, Walt Disney World Job at Walt Disney World Resort
We are looking for a Ranch Hand at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch! We provide daily care of over 90 horses and ponies that live at the Walt Disney World® Resort, and assist with pony rides, leading guest trail rides, and driving single and multiple draft horses and pony teams. The daily care of the horses we provide includes feeding, grooming, washing, working, and cleaning the stables.
Ranch Hand Cast Members receive a starting rate of $16.30/hour.

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This role requires full availability for any shift, any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Some shifts may start as early as 5:00 am while some may end as late as 3:00 am, 4:00 am, or 5:00 am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.

Basic Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum one (1) year horse experience to include riding, or driving single and multiple horse teams
- Minimum one (1) year experience driving trucks and trailers to transport horses
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with horses safely and having the initiative to handle unforeseen circumstances
- Experience saddling and harnessing horses and ponies
- Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
- May be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
