The Raw Materials Planner reports to the Planning Resource and is a key position supporting leadership and overall success of our facility. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with multiple teams and facilities.
Reporting Location: Ontario, CA
Salary: $25 - $30 / hour
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Overtime available. Ability to work flexible hours based on the business needs

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Order and manage raw materials (DIRECT and INDIRECT materials) through the Inventory Management System and maintain DOH/Working Capital Targets.
Work with raw material vendors to mitigate supply issues and avoid potential supply risk to meet Customer Service Target.
Support sourcing of customer orders based on product availability.
Support Deployment and Production planning strategy.
Perform detailed production reviews and inventory analysis reporting.
Create and analyze spreadsheets, charts, graphs and reports relating to backorders, inventory, and fill rates.
Communicate with leadership teams and coordinate warehouse transfers and repositions.
Support efforts to mitigate stagnant inventory- Slow moving /Obsolete items.
Assist planners/schedulers in making production changes in response to planned or unplanned outages. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering, or related field
Experience with problem solving methodologies.
Prior experience with raw material purchasing, production planning, and/or production operations is required.
Experienced analysis capabilities utilizing Excel and/or Access is required.
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Customer focused attitude in a dynamic environment
Experience with an ERP system such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.
