In this role, you have the opportunity to:
This role as Receptionist to our Alpharetta facility is the first interaction visitors and customers have with Mercury. We pride ourselves on our professionalism, culture and values which is required in this important role.

You are responsible for:
  • Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner
  • Process all on-site visitors by following security check-in process
  • Provide administrative support to multiple departments as needed
  • Organize internal and external meetings including team events, making all necessary arrangements including calendar coordination, booking rooms and arranging catering
  • Assist HR with team member on-boarding and off-boarding process
  • Receive incoming mail and packages, distributing them to appropriate departments
  • Produce high quality emails and messages to individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Assist in editing spreadsheets and presentations for meetings as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
You are a part of:
This role is the face of Mercury and currently reports up through Security. We are team oriented and work very well as a team within our group as well as

supporting multiple organizations as needed within Mercury.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • High School diploma or some college
  • Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
  • MS Office skills
  • Experience answering phones and directing calls
  • Experience checking ID’s and following company badging/visitor policies and procedures
Purpose: This position is for an established and productive individual contributor in the Administrative sub-family, who works under moderate supervision.

Responsibility Statement: Compiles and analyzes basic to moderately complex information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepares charts, graphs, or tables as necessary to support the business operation. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipates needed supplies, places and expedites orders for supplies, and verifies the receipt of supplies. Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers to support efficient business continuity. Provides general clerical support services to ensure adequate support to professional and management staff. Sorts and files more complex records and documents to maintain accurate recordkeeping. Writes, types, or enters information of basic complexity into computer to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents, copying information from one record to another.

Required Education, skills & experience:
  • HS Diploma
  • 2 years of admin front office admin experience
  • Positive mental attitude (you are the first person they meet)
