**I-CAR is seeking candidates in the Hoffman Estates, IL or its surrounding markets to travel office for meetings, projects, and other needs.**
The Role: Under the guidance and direction of the Vice President, People & Culture, the Recruiter manages the full life-cycle recruitment process for I-CAR including identifying needs, implanting strategic sourcing strategies, shortlisting candidates, interviewing, negotiating job offers and successfully closing new hires. This position will work with the business areas to gain an understanding of business objectives and talent needs. The Recruiter will serve as a brand ambassador, promote the employee value proposition, and ensure an outstanding candidate experience is delivered consistently.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Partner with hiring managers to define recruitment needs and plan the hiring process including sourcing passive and active candidates, reviewing internal candidates, and promoting employee referrals. Develop job descriptions and write job postings.
Manage the full-cycle selection process including sourcing qualified candidates, scheduling interviews, soliciting feedback from both the hiring manager and the candidate, preparing offer letters, and extending job offers.
Manage communication with candidates from the interview process through the initial onboarding. Assist in conducting new hire orientation and other on-boarding related meeting.
Track recruitment KPI’s including time to hire, source of hire, and time to fill.
Evaluate data and determine optimal recruitment channels.
Source candidates on job boards, social networking, resume databases, professional networks, and through job fairs, referrals and recruitment firms.
Pre-qualify candidates for job fit assessing values, interests, technical skills, professional work experience, work location preference and compensation requirements.
Administer Wonderlic and Predictive Index assessments and interpret results to evaluate candidates.
Monitor company reputation on social media (Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed). Prepare content in collaboration with Marketing to attract talent.
Organize hiring events, participate in career fairs, and establish relationships with universities to create a strong talent pipeline.
Administer new hire 90-day engagement surveys and exit interviews and report data to management.
Update job descriptions.
Assist with special projects in Human Resources department including but not limited to:

  • Researching and planning employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with the communication and rollout of wellness initiatives
  • Prepare HR content for the company newsletter.

Job Requirements:

  • Three to five years’ experience in internal corporate recruiting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, I/O Psychology, or related field desired.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certification strongly preferred.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) – Advanced skills are required
