JOB SUMMARY
The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization to maintain database of candidates for clients.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops, facilitates, and implements effective recruitment process and strategies Manage full cycle best practice recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within different client sites
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
- Conducting interview and making hiring decision to fill client orders Knowledge and usage of behavioral based interview questions
- Ensure all hiring paperwork completed correctly and all required screening procedures are complete including E-Verify and I-9 for all new hires as well as, drug tests and background checks
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Extensive knowledge of clients hiring needs and criteria to ensure compliance
- Maintain continuous communication with employees and clients
- Dispatch employees to assignments and follow up with client on employee’s progress
- Work closely with Branch Manager to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
- Mentors’ recruiters and staffing coordinators
- Knowledge and processes of worker comp and risk management
- Document activities, emails, and conversion with candidates, employees, and client contacts in Tempworks
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes
- Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting events
- Create talent pipeline for client needs
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with clients
- Perform arrival checks, quality check, and visits to clients
- Provide client specific training as it relates to the position
- Maintain communication and follow up with dispatched employees
- Submit accurate reports to Branch Manager and Clients
- Skill marketing candidates to customers and prospects
- Generating sales leads
- Customer orientations including plant tours
- Attending customer labor meetings
- Payroll collection and entry
- Attending sales appointments
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Depending on size of branch duties will be flexible
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Be outgoing and initiative-taking with a powerful desire to excel; and the ability to lead others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent people skills with good negotiation tactics
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles Initiative-taking and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
