JGMS is currently recruiting for an Recruitment Specialist located in Grand Junction, CO or Albuquerque, NM.

Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 with generous benefits package.

Scope of Work

The incumbent is expected to assist with various acceptable human capital management practices within the JGMS Human Resource Department in addition to satisfactorily performing full cycle recruitment endeavors. A strong working knowledge of HRIS and ATS capabilities as well as experience in staffing and recruitment for private industry and government contracts is necessary. The role will engage with C-Suite and Division Managers and make recommendations related to staffing and recruitment and stays apprised of trends in recruitment practices. To be successful the role requires organization and prioritization skills.

  • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process to deliver the best candidate experience while preparing, sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring, onboarding candidates and dispositioning applicants.
  • Prioritize requisitions and searches to foster operational excellence and meet or exceed metrics.
  • Utilize IT systems to convey a talent pipeline, maintain a resume database, and create dashboards.
  • Assisting with new hire processes by distributing, collecting, and confirming all required documentation with new employees, coordinating the timely return of all personnel and benefits enrollment forms, performing employment eligibility verifications using E-Verify, records management, and other onboarding activities.
  • Collaborate with department/division managers to identify, organize, and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions that support performance expectations and role requirements.
  • Collaborate with human resources staff to achieve a positive and productive onboarding experience to promote retention and internal referrals.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on open requisitions, industry standards, and the needs of the organization(s).
  • Coordinate vacancy postings, advertisement processes, and maintain productive relationships with internal or third-party talent acquisition partners.
  • Facilitate the interview process by attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders including scheduling interviews, preparing interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other leaders and HR staff during the offer process, benchmark salary ranges, promote incentives, communicate start dates and other pertinent details.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify, attend, and participate in community and collegial job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Support the HR Department through collaboration and by executing other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong working knowledge of HR functions related to day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to accurately complete moderately complex tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of HRIS.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills including prioritization of tasks under strict deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field with 3 or more years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Background Check and Screenings
