SOCCER SHOTS DMV:

Soccer Shots DC/MD/VA (DMV) was established over ten years ago. Soccer Shots DMV stretches from Harford Co, MD to Prince William Co, VA and serves over 40,000 families every year. Offices are located in Laurel, MD & Fairfax, VA. Soccer Shots DMV work closely with Soccer Shots Franchising National Headquarters in Middletown, PA.

Job Description:

OBJECTIVES: The Recruiting Manager plays a strategic role in filling vacancies across the organization to support Soccer Shots operations throughout DC, MD & VA. In this role, you will be leading and managing the organization’s recruiting efforts and be responsible for part-time, and full-time vacancies. We’re looking for a motivated individual who can source talent strategically and is passionate about our mission.

Responsibilities

● Sourcing and placement of Part-time & Full-time candidates into a number of positions across DC/MD/VA

● Partner with Training Team to ensure successful on-boarding and training for new hires

● Follow up with new hires to ensure that on-boarding experience is positive

● Execute recruiting strategy and meet seasonal goals

● Ensure all new hires complete the training process successfully

● Collaborate with Human Resources Department to ensure compliance of new hire paperwork

● Daily update of the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) & Department resources

● Identify and develop forecasting models and opportunities that effectively and economically benefit the business and the staffing needs

● Be a Champion of Culture

● Develop a network that increases brand awareness and promotes job opportunities in our organization

WORKING HOURS/LOCATION/SCHEDULE:

● The job description above is a full-time, exempt position requiring a minimum of 40-50 hours of work per week working from our office in Laurel, MD. Your weekly agenda and schedule will be assigned by your supervisor. This is a full-time, exempt position. During busy seasons, longer hours are expected to ensure deadlines and goals are met.

For Soccer Shots to have a reputation of excellence. An objective measure of each territory’s reputation for quality will be learned in the Net Promoter Score survey conducted at the end of each season

COMPANY EXPECTATIONS:

Prompt, reliable, and professional communication—always responds to candidates, supervisor and other Soccer Shots support staff within 24 hours

Meet weekly, seasonal, and annual timelines and deadlines. Develop systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with your time

Meet seasonal performance goals. Go above and beyond company expectations to sell, promote and market our program prior to each season

Adhere to all company policies and represent Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity

PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS AND REVIEWS:

● Performance will be reviewed after the first 60 days of employment

● Objectives of the position and company expectations will be reviewed quarterly through a meeting with supervisor

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

● College degree required in a related field

● Minimum 5-7 years of recruiting experience

● Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sports management or a similar field

● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite
