Registered Dental Hygienist TEMPORARY Job at Wolter Advanced Dental Care
Wolter Advanced Dental Care has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Dental Hygienist looking for a part-time position this summer in Chambersburg! We are seeking a positive, highly motivated individual to help us help the community by opening some additional spots in our schedule on Thursdays throughout the summer.
You'd be expected to:
- Screen patients by: completing an assessment of oral health conditions; reviewing their health history; oral cancer screening; dental charting; and taking blood pressure and pulse.
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Remove calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth.
- Apply preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides).
- Educate patients in appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health, i.e., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling as needed for their oral health.
- Take digital impressions of patients' teeth
- Keep accurate and thorough documentation on patients.
You would need to be:
- Licensed PA RDH
- Certified PA x-ray
- Certified in CPR
We'd love if you:
- Have knowledge of Eaglesoft Practice Management Software
- Have knowledge of CEREC and Cone Beam technologies
- Have excellent verbal skills to communicate with patients and staff
- Are a team player
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $38.00 per hour
