Full-Time Day Shift
Responsibilities:
- Provide services and patient care for the treatment of substance abuse, dual-diagnosis, and psychiatric, and/or emotional disorders at Detox, Residential, and PHP levels.
- Work under pressure, communicate effectively and maintain a professional manner with clients, staff, visitors, and groups.
- Work with the Clinical Director and Program Director to develop individualized treatment.
- Knowledge/experience in the Twelve Step Recovery Program is a must.
- Knowledge of individual and group therapy modalities, such as CBT and DBT.
- Maintain positive and professional boundaries with clients, staff, physicians, and visitors.
- Collect information about clients using techniques such as testing, interviewing, discussion, and observation.
- Prepare and maintain all treatment records and reports in the company EMR.
- Provide individual sessions, Family sessions, utilization reviews, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
- Counsel clients individually and within a group setting to assist in overcoming dependencies, and maladjustment, and aiding them in making positive changes.
- Collaborate with other staff members to perform clinical assessments.
- Act as a client advocate to coordinate required services.
- Ongoing evaluation of the client's physical /mental condition based on a review.
- Other duties assigned.
REQUIRED LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:
- Current Registration or License
- Licensed/Registered Professional Clinical Counselor
- Primary series of the Covid-19 vaccine and 1st booster (when eligible) is required from the Department of Public Health.
Experience:
- Substance Abuse: 1 year (Preferred).
- Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred).
- Mental health: 1 year (Preferred).
