Communicare is a community mental health center in North Central Mississippi that serves Calhoun, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Tate and Yalobusha counties. Communicare offers specialized treatment services for adults with serious mental illness, children with serious emotional disturbances, individuals with substance abuse disorders and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Communicare is currently seeking a RN (Registered Nurse) at the Crisis Stabilization Unit in Panola County. (Salary is Negotiable.)
This requires meeting with clients, consulting with physicians, completing reports and other consultation with other professionals in the office, and general office management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinating all activities regarding required nursing duties and responsibilities,
- Assisting the psychiatrist/physician
- Monitoring client progress and problems and reporting relevant findings to the psychiatrist/physician.
- Counsel clients on importance of following medication regimen and observe client’s response to medication.
- Complete reports, records, logs and other required data as required for client records
- Conduct in-service training sessions for staff.
- Conducting intakes.
- Attending administrative and clinical staffing
- Providing various forms of therapy (individual, group, family, marital) as appropriate to level of training.
- Receiving clinical supervision.
- Participating in consultation and education activities.
- Consulting with other staff members regarding clinical cases and issues. Other duties will be assigned by the direct supervisor.
